Job: Head of Events22.07.19
We are currently looking for an accomplished Head of Events to join our team and play a key leadership role in the creation and delivery of a variety of client events ranging from awards ceremonies and press shows, to product launches and experiential events.
The successful candidate will be a strong and visionary team leader who can take our work to the next level. This means planning and producing complex events, as well as overseeing the delivery of events by other members of the team.
The Head of Events will work very closely with our owner and Managing Director and our Commercial Director. You will have an overview of all areas of our operational business and be responsible for overall management and mentoring of the Events Management team which is integral to the success of the business going forward. You will also oversee and coordinate the Designers in our Creative team and ensure workloads are scheduled and managed. This means leading a highly motivated, extremely creative and hard-working group of people, inspiring and developing talent, and fostering a culture of learning and growth.
You will be working with clients at a strategic level to develop event formats, campaign messages, KPI’s and objectives and lead on writing new business tenders and delivering pitches. You will also direct event planning and delivery that look to new technologies and services that enhance our premium offering and ensure it is rooted in current trends and expectations for the future.
You’ll be joining one of the country’s top creative events agencies – working with a broad range of global brands on a variety of high profile events. There are no limits to our ambitions and no limits to this role.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Senior Manager from the Events industry with experience of handling large accounts and leading teams. You will be looking to take on a new challenge in an exciting and face-paced agency.
You should be an ambitious and highly motivated individual with a confident, creative and commercially astute approach to event management. You should possess exemplary experience of project management, negotiation and team management, and you will be able to demonstrate a proven ability to build strong client relationships and provide valuable creative counsel. You should have extensive experience working with high profile brands in sectors ranging from fashion and beauty, to automotive and technology.
Ideally you will have considerable experience working within a creative Events agency along with a clear sense of how to design and produce something bold, visionary and commercial, along with a strong aspiration to innovate and originate on an ongoing basis.
It is vital that you have successful experience of leading a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team: nurturing creativity, ensuring effective collaboration and overseeing successful operational delivery.
